Fire and Rescue Season Brings In First Responders

Fire and rescue season is approaching and it is causing many concerns. Lifeguards and firefighters are on duty most of the summer in order to save lives, keeping the state beaches and parks safe.

Previous accidents have trained Charlie Watkins and more first responders to act accordingly. This summer he is covering the land from the Oceano Dunes State Vehicular Recreation Area to Pismo State Beach.

With a call to 911 the first responders will be notified that there is danger and help is on its way.

As the hot season is on the way, hear from Charlie Watkins about the ins and outs of fire and rescue.
